Well-known and overused, Korean skincare with its 12 steps has tired us out a bit, but then who has that kind of time? I have to be honest with you, all those steps are not really necessary to have healthy, beautiful, glowing skin.
When taking care of your skin the only important thing is to choose the right products, but what are the essential steps for an effective skincare routine?
There is no skincare without cleansing
That’s right, we cannot apply products if the skin on our face is not perfectly cleansed. This step is essential and should be done twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. Don’t cheat! Cleansing should be deep but gentle and should not attack our skin barrier too much.
If you are still looking for the perfect cleanser, I recommend you try our “Essential Cleanser,” formulated with 96 percent natural ingredients, it cleanses your face leaving it smooth and glowing. Besides, it smells irresistible!
Exfoliation…gently!
Exfoliation is an important step because it allows us to eliminate dead cells, plus it helps the absorption of the products we will use later in our skincare routine. As necessary as it is, exfoliation is by no means a daily step; you can do a chemical exfoliation scrub or mask once or twice a week. Don’t overdo it!
Hydration, but that’s nothing new, right?
I’m sure you already knew that. There is no step more important than hydration. Smog, sun, wind and even cold weather greatly stress the skin and make it dull and dehydrated. Moisturization is the step that allows you to give your face a youthful, smooth and soft appearance, somewhat like a weapon against skin aging.
When the skin is not well hydrated, it begins to show the first wrinkles, the texture becomes rough, and even make-up fails to look good. To thoroughly moisturize your skin you can use a hyaluronic acid serum and combine with a moisturizer, these two products will work in synergy to make your skin look better than ever!
Protection, always!
Protecting the skin from UV rays is necessary.
The sun attacks the skin, dehydrates it, makes us sunburn, accelerates the aging process and can cause dark spots. I avoid mentioning all the even more dangerous risks of UV radiation; I’m sure you already know them. Never skip SPF cream and remember to reapply it often, especially in summer!
PS I’m sure you don’t, but do you know that before you do skincare you have to wash your hands well?
