In the skincare world today, we hear more and more about Clean Beauty. But what is it really about? What is meant by “clean”‘?
Clean Beauty is a philosophy of beauty and cosmetics that has a respectful approach to people and our planet. It is based on a perfect blend of science and a simple concept: “unnecessary” or nonfunctional ingredients are often found in cosmetics, not only for our skin, but also for the environment around us.
Products that belong to Clean Beauty, such as those found in our Essential line, are formulated for the most part with ingredients of natural origin and therefore safer for our health as they are free of chemical elements considered potentially harmful or irritating, such as: parabens, sulfates, SLS, SLES, formaldehyde, mineral oils, silicones, and dyes.
Talking about Clean Beauty also means talking about sustainability, which is also reflected in the use of packaging made from recycled or recyclable materials such as paper, plastic and glass. For example, our product cases are made from a special paper made from discarded fruit shells.
The approach with which Clean Beauty approaches the world of cosmetics refers in a broader sense to responsible behavior, which translates into greater transparency both at the level of ingredients used and the production chain and greater authenticity in relations with consumers.
